Are we there yet?

Cabinets have been ordered and confirmed, appliances have been ordered and confirmed and the general contractor's references have been checked. We're waiting on seeing a detailed contract from the GC for review and will be signing it once yours truly makes sure it has every little thing in it. I feel good we finally are at this point.

Cabinets should take 5-6 weeks to get delivered so I'm hoping they tell us when that is soon. Once we have the cabinet delivery date the GC will be able to be scheduled to start 2 weeks in advance of delivery. Potentially we will stet this in 2-3 weeks.

We still have little things to decide on like tile, granite and which under cabinet lights we want but first we need to know when the whole process is starting. Strange to think I've been working on this on and off for about 6 months. I'm sick of the kitchen, let's do this!
